Biography
Abbas Bilgrami is a professional who has worked in the energy and logistics industry for over 40 years in senior positions. He has held leadership positions in the corporate world and acted as advisor to several governments on energy and logistics matters. He has often spoken and written on energy and logistics matters. Abbas has authored a number of papers and coauthored integrated energy plans while consulting on energy policy matters. In addition to his corporate career, he has been a publisher for 40 years and has published books on Islam and Islamic spirituality. His areas of interest are geopolitics and its impact on energy and logistics, the social and economic impact of colonialism on societies in the Asian and African continents. Abbas is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, & qualified as Registered Industrial Accountant Canada, with his first degree from University of Karachi and a second degree from Concordia University, Canada.
