Dr. Neda Zoghi

Biography

Dr. Neda Zoghi is a post-doctoral researcher at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC-IIUM), an artist and scholar with extensive experience in the history and philosophy of Persian painting. She is also a Co-founder of the Asia West East Centre, and has been involved in the center's activities since its inception. With a Ph.D. in Islamic Art and an MA in Visual Arts, she has spent over twenty years working predominantly in Persian Miniature Painting. She has also taught classes in Persian Miniature Painting and Islamic Illumination for a decade and has exhibited her work in solo and group shows in Iran, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and Malaysia
